Zombie Infestation Contained in Canada

Foleyet, Ontario – A Canadian train traveling from Vancouver to Toronto was quarantined on Thursday after a passenger died.

Dr. David Gaddis said that the woman who died was not carrying an infectious disease, but with the ever-growing possibility of a zombie apocalypse they wanted to take no chances. Another woman, who was airlifted to Timmins and District Hospital in Timmins, Ontario, is also believed to not be infectious.

Five other passengers are currently on the quarantined train as they are being assessed due to complaints of feeling ill. “The death and illnesses appear to be unrelated,” he said.

Once the five passengers are cleared the train will continue on to its destination.

The train was carrying 264 passengers and 30 crew when it came to a stop and was quarantined in Northern Ontario, a spokeswoman for VIA Rail said.

VIA Rail Train Number 2 was stopped “for pandemic concerns” Foleyet, Ontario, said rail spokesman Ashley Doyle.

The Associated Press reported that Deborah DeMonet, chairwoman of Foleyet, said the scene was mass hysteria. “The whole place is being overrun with ambulances, police cars, and military personnel. We’ve got helicopters eh!” she said. “They’ve got the train quarantined. They’re trying to isolate what it is.”

A spokeswoman for the owner of the track, Canadian National Railway, said the company arranged to stop the train after receiving a request from VIA Railway on Thursday.

VIA Rail issued a telephone number for anyone seeking information about the passengers: 555-747-0707.
