Melbourne Zombie Walk a Success
Melbourne was host to the latest zombie walk. Organized through Facebook, the saunter was a complete success. This was mostly because the event coordinators issued rules for the walk including “Keep you blood to yourself” and “If you need to drip blood on someone, do it on a fellow zombie.
This is Melbourne’s third Zombie Shuffle. Hoisting signs begging for “rights for the undead”, zombies, zombie dogs, zombie families, and even a zombie Jesus, walked the streets fom Carlton Gardens to Southbank chanting “BRAINS”
The good, clean fun of this zombie walk comes in sharp contrast to the chaotic attempt in Harris Park coming up on July 19th in which participants are encouraged to ignore traffic laws and attack vehicles on the street.
Organizers of the Melbourne walk ask that their zombies avoid the carrying of “weapons; scaring of children, senior citizens or animals; and obey the road rules”.
