Zombies to Invade Best Buy for RE5 Launch
The Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania Best Buy will convert part of their store into a haunted house on March 13th. The employees will be dressed as zombies, the TVs will be set to no-signal snow, and there will even be a guy dressed in a potato-sack mask wielding a chainsaw. All this in celebration of the release of Capcom game, Resident Evil 5.
“You want to get away from midnight releases, that’s stale, that’s old,” Dave Partenio, supervisor of gaming and media at the store, told Kotaku. “We want to have a premiere game party for this game.”
If the event and the games sales go well, it may be possible to see more game release parties at retailers.
If you live in the area and you are going to purchase the game, head on over to that Best Buy at midnight on March 13th and tell them that Zombie Watch Network sent you!
