Former Cheers alumnus, Woody Harrelson thwarted a small zombie uprising at New York’s LaGuadia airport last week. Harrelson, trying to protect his daughter, fought off an infected as he stepped off the plane. The infected, whose identity has been withheld, was a paparazzi in his “former” life. Harrelson, being an actor all too familiar with the paparazzi coupled with his zombie fighting skills, unleashed a flurry of blows that rendered the celebrity photographer defenseless – and broke his camera. Harrleson had just wrapped up the filming of the upcoming film, “Zombieland” in which he plays a a guy described as “the most frightened person on Earth” in a world taken over by zombies.
”I wrapped a movie called Zombieland, in which I was constantly under assault by zombies, then flew to New York, still very much in character,” Harrelson said. “With my daughter at the airport, I was startled by a paparazzo who I quite understandably mistook for a zombie.”
Paparazzo, zombie, whatever…Cheers to you, Woody!
