Nurse Dies After Helping Fallen Coach

A high school nurse died yesterday after helping the high school baseball coach, who, according to eyewitness accounts, fell unconscious while collecting foul balls.  Thinking the coach was suffering from a heart attack, the nurse rushed to him and checked his vitals. “There’s no pulse!” she yelled as she proceeded to administer CPR.  She collapsed when the paramedics arrived and was later pronounced dead.  The nurse’s quick actions saved the coach’s life, who will be released from the hospital in a few days.

Disturbing reports from one of the hospital’s morgue employees, who wished to remain anonymous,  told Zombie Watch Network that he was eating his lunch when he heard a noise coming from the morgue.  He went in to check it out and heard a knocking from one of the body lockers.  He opened it and fell to the floor in surprise when the nurse’s body moaned and sat up.  He said:

I grabbed a tray and hit her repeatedly in the head.  I was so scared, it was just an automatic response.  I destroyed her head and her body just went limp.  I totally quit right then.  Crazy thing was…I swear she was trying to bite me…

This morgue employee may have thwarted a possible outbreak…wonder if he’ll get some kind of hazard pay?

The hospital declined to comment on the situation nor as to why the nurse died.
