Upon first reading that sentence in World War Z, there’s no way one could know that Max Brooks really loves rum. So how do we at ZWN know he likes rum? It’s simple, he told us.
Not long ago when we interviewed Max we got into a discussion about rum. We didn’t start the conversation, we swear! He disclosed to us that he had lots of bottles of rum. We asked how much and he stated ,”more than I should.” He then proceeded to autograph some poor guy’s book by jotting down his personal rum selections. So we asked him to do the same for us on my notepad. Now we share those selections with you. Who knows, maybe they’ll give you that extra moxie when dealing with zombies.
