While no one was killed in the accident and no “life-threatening” injuries were reported, we believe that there may have been an outbreak in the Portland area.  If you are driving on I-84 near the Lloyd exit, please use extreme caution as some of the zombies could still be roaming the area.

Nearly 530 were infected by shellfish that was carrying raw sewage that contained the virus. “Not only is it one of the largest outbreaks that we’ve dealt with, it’s one of the largest outbreaks associated with a restaurant in medical literature,” stated an agent from the Health Protection Agency who agreed to comment based on anonymity.

It is believed that strains of H1Z1, a mutation of the infamous Swine Flu (H1N1) may have found its way into the sewage system. Whether it is lying dormant waiting to be unleashed or it has already made its way into restaurants has not yet been determined. It is important to understand that an outbreak of a zombie virus spread through food could spread faster than a wildfire.

Fortunately, patrons at The Fat Duck are reported to have only contracted a norovirus, which is a common virus in Britain, especially in the winter months. Once the latest shipment of shellfish was disposed of, the restaurant was allowed to reopen its doors. The matter is still under investigation, especially sanitary practices regarding staff that is allowed to continue to work after reporting symptoms of an illness.

“I’ve gotten into these things before,” the construction worker from Southern California said. “Bite marks…lacerations…I just thought it was a war trophy.”

Smith doesn’t quite recall what lead him to go to the doctor, but he did thinking it would be something small. It turned out that it was a zombie infection. His leg was immediately amputated and he was put on dialysis. The outcome as of yet is still to be seen.

“Yeah, I’ve heard about these zombie viruses and all, but I’m vegetarian. I can’t taste as good as those Mexicans and their carnitas. What about the Chinese and orange chicken? Gimme a break,” he said.

Necrologists say they are now concerned because of the growing rate of zombie bites and infections among people of boring appetites.

“Now…as a kid in college I president to a group known as ‘The Fat Kid’s Club” and we used to go out to Pink’s in Hollywood, Thai food in Thai town and Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, but we are now finding that vegans get it as much as meat-eaters,” says Dr. Anthony Garcia.

Garcia pointed out that though diet may have some effect on a zombie’s preferred target in the end it has an insatiable appetite and doesn’t care who it will devour. Since these recent findings many vegans and vegetarians have returned to their meat-eating ways.

Researchers recently acknowledged that preventative measures with regards to zombie attacks were directed towards those with certain meat-filled diets.

The person who bit Mr. Smith was found and subsequently “contained.”

While police were serving a search warrant in connection to a bank robbery, Natalie Alease Harrison, 47, was arrested when she attempted to bite a an officer.  No other officers were injured during her arrest.  Harrison is also being held for “observation”.  There has been no word on the status of the police officer who suffered from the bite.

“Estrada pounded his head on the ground and, when he was taken to the hospital , he attacked a nurse and officer”, Chong reported.

The unidentified man suffered no injuries but assured ZWN that Estrada was not high, as the police have stated.

“There’s no way that man was “high”.  He attacked me.  I was minding my own business and he came out of the bushes and attacked me.  He kept trying to bite me.  It was weird…there was nothing there…he was…he wasn’t there…”
