West Hollywood Book Fair
The 8th West Hollywood Book Fair took place on Sunday October 4th. The fair is located in Hollywood Park just a few blocks from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It was a great local event with over 400 authors and artists in attendance, as well as more than 100 different panels and book signings. They had live poetry, writing workshops, and fun stuff to keep the kids busy.
Hollywood Zombie Walk
By 4:45pm on Saturday, October 17th, members of ZWN were on the Los Angeles subway, the Red Line to be exact and if being trapped on a subway full of strangers isn’t scary enough, imagine being trapped with a bunch of zombies.
Hollywood Outdoor Cinema Screening of Shaun of the Dead
On Saturday, August 15th 2009 ZWN’s own Marcel-Jean “Dangermouse” Sarfati got to peek inside the brains of the Los Angeles Undead and see what they do for fun. Evidently, they like to throw fashion shows, dance and watch Shaun of the Dead on a very large inflatable screen.
Pride and Prejudice…and Zombies?
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is an “updated version of the Jane Austen classic. The book is said to feature the “original text of Jane Austen’s beloved novel with all-new scenes of bone crunching zombie action”.
